UX Design Specialist
As a UX lead at Tribevest, you will be accountable for improving usability across investor, fund manager, and internal tools that power multi-year SPVs. You’ll identify friction in real workflows, align stakeholders around concrete UX changes, and partner with Product and Engineering to turn insights into shipped improvements. This role is critical to scaling the platform while reducing operational cost and support dependency.
Role Definition
This role is accountable for improving usability and reducing friction across Tribevest’s customer-facing and back-office products. Success is measured by clearer workflows, reduced support volume, improved task completion, and actionable UX recommendations that translate directly into shipped product changes.
Focus Areas
- Review and improve recently released fund manager and investor portals covering onboarding workflows and investment data (basis, soft commits, final commits, contributions)
- Facilitate alignment with internal stakeholders on required UX adjustments and priorities
- Align customer-facing portals with back-office tools while supporting additional workflows required by account managers
- Analyze support tickets to identify UX-driven failure points and cost drivers
- Optimize usability for a wide investor demographic, from first-time investors to experienced, high-net-worth users
- Collect and interpret usability data using website analytics and tracking tools
- Support international expansion by improving global data entry patterns (addresses, phone numbers) and aligning UX with regional privacy requirements

- Audit existing user flows and screens and document concrete UX issues and opportunities
- Translate stakeholder input into clear, prescriptive UX recommendations
- Propose interaction and layout changes that reduce steps, confusion, and support dependency
- Define methods for collecting and analyzing user interaction data
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure UX recommendations are feasible and actionable
- Evaluate and recommend UX patterns that support global users and privacy expectations
- Prioritize UX changes based on impact to user success and support cost reduction

- Deliver prioritized UX recommendations for customer-facing portals based on consolidated stakeholder input
- Clearly document workflow changes and screen-level adjustments for product owner review
First 60 Days
- Define and document prescriptive methods for collecting website interaction and usability data
- Establish a repeatable process for turning usage data into actionable UX changes
First 90 Days
- Deliver prioritized UX recommendations for back-office applications based on consolidated stakeholder input
- Identify UX changes that directly reduce support tickets or resolution time
Required Background
- UX design experience focused on workflow-heavy web applications
- Proven ability to evaluate usability across diverse user demographics
- Experience producing prescriptive UX guidance rather than purely conceptual designs
Target Industry Experience
- Investment platforms, fintech, or other complex, data-driven web applications
- Experience supporting multi-role or multi-sided platforms preferred
